Hartmut Opfermann Takes Over as Head of Development and Joins the Group-Wide CTO Office

Effective September 1, 2026, Hartmut Opfermann has taken over responsibility for Development at BFE Studio und Medien Systeme GmbH. At the same time, he has joined the Broadcast Solutions Group's CTO Office. In his role as Head of Development, he succeeds Konstantin Schinas, who is leaving the company.

Hartmut Opfermann brings many years of experience in broadcast IT, networking technologies, and software development. He has served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of BFE since May 2025 and will continue in this role. In addition, he will contribute his expertise to the Broadcast Solutions Group's CTO Office. The group-wide technology organization combines technological expertise, strategic alignment, and close collaboration with customers. By taking over leadership of Development, Opfermann also assumes direct responsibility for BFE's development department.

Through his many years at BFE, combined with his experience in product management, consulting, architecture, and development, he has gained extensive knowledge of modern media and IT systems as well as the challenges of software development.

As he departs, Konstantin Schinas is thanked for his commitment and the trusting collaboration. His colleagues at BFE and KSC wish him all the best for his future professional and personal endeavors.
