Open systems, growing infrastructures, and increasingly complex workflows place new demands on control and integration. At HAMBURG OPEN 2026 , KSC Systems will demonstrate how these requirements can be addressed in a practical and structured manner.
The focus will be on selected solutions from the KSC Systems portfolio , which visitors can experience firsthand. These include the KSC Open Controller Interface for the vendor-independent integration of operator panels. In addition, KSC Systems will provide insights into KSC Horizon Order Management for managing broadcast services, as well as further topics related to the development of bouquet routing with KSC Core and infrastructure monitoring with KSC SinAlarm .
Instead of product presentations on paper, the focus is on concrete use cases, typical operational questions, and the exchange of information about real-world setups. HAMBURG OPEN provides the perfect setting for this – with time for conversations, discussions, and new perspectives.
Another highlight is the technical presentation by Hartmut Opfermann, CTO of BFE, entitled “NMOS Security – Eyes Closed and Carry On?”. The presentation will take place on 14 January 2026 from 1:30 to 2:00 pm on the Vision Stage in Hall B6 and is presented by the FKTG – Fernseh- und Kinotechnische Gesellschaft. The focus is on security aspects of NMOS as the central control protocol in IP-based production environments. The session addresses relevant threat scenarios, existing security specifications such as IS-10 and the BCP-003 series, as well as the current state of their implementation in real-world projects.
