BFE presented innovative control solutions under the KSC Systems brand and received a great response from trade visitors and partners.
New brand identity and great response
At IBC 2025 in Amsterdam, BFE Studio und Medien Systeme GmbH unveiled the new KSC Systems brand identity for the first time. Despite declining visitor numbers compared to the previous year, our booth attracted significant interest. In addition to numerous expert discussions, the new brand identity and the software solutions presented attracted particular attention.

With the launch of the KSC Systems umbrella brand, BFE unveiled the strategic realignment of its product line. The new, product-specific branding for the four systems KSC Core , KSC Horizon , KSC SinAlarm , and KSC ControlRoom received a consistently positive response. The strong interest demonstrated that the KSC Systems brand is clearly recognized and accepted in the market.

Four systems – one common appearance
For the first time, the four software solutions of the KSC product family were presented together under one brand identity. Specially developed furniture was used for the trade fair presentation: our Think Tank Stele , which can be used flexibly as a workstation, presentation area, and meeting table.
A special highlight was the introduction of the new KSC Open Controller Interface , which opens KSC Core to third-party hardware controllers. This extension generated significant interest from customers, partners, and the trade press.

KSC at partner stands
In addition to the BFE main booth, KSC Systems was also represented at the booths of several partner companies:
- DirectOut GmbH: Special demos were held over two days with a KSC Core specialist. A KSC Core installation on a Surface tablet was presented, including integration, configuration, and control of various systems such as the Prodigy NMOS router, Prodigy Ember+ parameters, and the KSC GFXUnit with NMOS matrix and XY panel. - Attendees were able to watch live how a new Ember+ parameter ("AudioFollowsVideo") was created in the KSC Core and configured in the GFXUnit. The second session focused on the KSC EventManager , where an audio gateway and IP stream remapper were created using DirectOut components.
- arkona technologies GmbH: An all-in-one control system was demonstrated, combining KSC Core and easyIP . The solution enables centralized control in a SMPTE ST 2110 environment via NMOS and Ember+. Additionally, KSC Systems demonstrated the integration of the KSC GFXUnit for controlling arkona functions such as NMOS/Ember routing, audio shuffling, signal processing, and multiviewer control via TSL 5.0.
- IHSE GmbH: The IHSE booth demonstrated the integration of the Draco KVM solution with the KSC BD-36 control unit and KSC Core .

In addition, BFE presented a custom-built control center desk at its own booth, equipped with a classic KVM solution from Guntermann & Drunk GmbH . The exhibit underscored the manufacturer-independent approach and versatility of KSC system solutions.
Positive feedback and valuable contacts
The numerous expert discussions and positive feedback confirmed that KSC Systems' solution approach meets current market needs. Particularly encouraging was the significant increase in the number of contacts recorded – determined by scanning the QR codes on visitor badges.
Our presence at IBC 2025 impressively demonstrated that KSC Systems, under the BFE umbrella, offers innovative and practical control and monitoring solutions. We thank all visitors, partners, and interested parties for the intensive exchange and look forward to the next IBC!
